Today, Mohegan Sun Pocono has its race track, 82,000 square feet of gaming space, a 238-room hotel, and a great selection of dining establishments and retail outlets.
It also has an online sports betting platform. Then, after the legalization of sports betting, Mohegan Sun Pocono got together with online gambling giant Kindred Group in 2019 to become Northeastern Pennsylvania�s first casino to offer sports betting. The next part of the expansion was completed in 2013 when Mohegan Sun opened its hotel which is connected to the gaming floor. The casino began offering table games in July 2010. When casino table games were legalized in 2010, Mohegan Sun was one of the first casinos granted permission to offer table games. In November 2006, it became the first site in the Keystone State to have slot machines. The property was renamed Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs and a major expansion quickly commenced. Mohegan Sun purchased Pocono Downs from Penn National Gaming for $280 million in early 2005.
